Chestnut Grass Pellets

A high fibre, low sugar, low starch pellet made from 100% high temperature dried grass, suitable for a wide range of horses and ponies in light - moderate work, for improving condition, and as an alternative source of fibre when grass intake is limited. 

Chestnut Grass Pellets are 100% natural, with no added sugars or starches and are a convenient way to provide additional fibre in any equine's ration.  They are designed to be fed alongside grazing and other forage, or can be fed as a partial or full forage replacement.

Chestnut Grass Pellets should be fed soaked, however, they can also be used dry in treat balls (when consumed in small quantities).

Fibre sources used in our feeds can change, depending on the time of year and seasonal conditions. Therefore our feeds may also change in appearance. This is the nature of fibre crops and does not affect the overall nutritional value of the feed.

Feeding Rate:

Feed according to Body Condition and requirements. 

We recommend a feeding rate of 100 g per 100 kg bodyweight per day.   However, if fed as a grass (or fibre) replacement, this can be increased, to a maximum daily amount of 5 kg per day.
